Responsibility

Responsibility

Responsibility

Understand This… Leaders must take responsibility.

You are out front. You make the decisions. The buck stops with you. If it’s good, it’s your fault. If it’s bad, it’s your fault whether you did it or not. You have to answer for the good and the bad as well as make sure that things keep going well or get fixed. Leaders DON’T BLAME. Leaders lead. Leaders learn and leaders get help when they need it. Leaders own mistakes and operate in humility. It’s not necessarily a bad thing to say you’ve been wrong. It’s a bad thing to deflect and let others take the negative hits. Own it, stand up in it, fix it and make the people following you understand that you are all about doing the right thing. That’s what real leaders do and I can see you doing those kinds of things.

Opportunity to Ask- Pop Smith

Video Title

Opportunity to Ask:

Pop begins with the scripture in I Kings 3:5 where God appears to Solomon in a dream and says “Ask what I shall give thee.”

This recording is part of the broadcast on WCOL in the 1950’s. It was transcoded from 7″ reel to reel tapes to digital format by Bishop Smith’s great grandson Daryl Wicker. It was recorded from the radio on a personal reel to reel recorder in a man’s living room. You will occasionally hear motor noise, a phone ringing or people moving around. Great care has been exercised to clean up the recordings and bring them to you in this archive. Please share with others who may be blessed by this wisdom from God.
